North Carolina Division of Services for the Blind

The North Carolina Division of Services for the Blind has been providing quality services to individuals with hearing and vision loss since 1976. Services are provided by dedicated staff called Deaf-Blind Specialist who provide the necessary support to assist individuals with finding suitable employment and/or increasing the level of independence within the home. The Deaf-Blind Specialist's role includes advocacy, consultation, assessment, technical support, service coordination, training, transition planning, job placement and development, and a variety of other services.
