DB-Goldin Poetry

Welcome to DB-Goldin Poetry! Just as gold reflects a higher standard of excellence, we hope that deafblind members of this group will reflect more of the gold in their hearts by writing and sharing their poetry, short stories and philosophy with others. For those of you who hate reading or writing poetry, let me assure you that we have a lot of fun on this poetry group! Anything goes -- just speak straight from your heart and you have the essence and quality of a poem or short story! Don't worry about your writing style or whether you can rhyme words -- writing can be good therapy and there's nothing more satisfying than accumulating a collection of your very own poems and short stories or none! It matters not whether you speak ASL, PSE or perfectly good English for it is all one and the same: heartspeak. We’d love to have you join us if this will bring you fun and pleasure!

Your friendly hostess is Melanie Bond aka Melly or "Ipo" of Sierra Vista, Arizona. She has Usher Syndrome and enjoys family, friends, cooking, reading, writing and traveling. Her two co-moderators who help her keep this group running smoothly is her hubby Harvey Bond and fellow member Peter Manser of Australia.
